His laughter was my saving grace,

it was timeless and contagious.

He had a loud, uninhibited laughter

and everyone who was around him

when he laughed, fell in love

with him. It was a beautiful laugh,

like the promise of tomorrow,

like a sunbeam,

and it didn’t even matter what

he was laughing about but

the satisfaction

was all mine;

it felt like home and sounded

like a melody.

So we laugh and laugh,

and the world feels like a

kaleidoscope of new possibilities,

all of our fears and frustrations

disappearing; so happy in that moment.
