  1. People are way too serious about taking care of their books. Sometimes I’ll tear a page out of a book just to remind myself it’s my property. I hate reverence for things. All things are disposable.

    1. It’s nice though, to have a whole book shelf of perfect condition books, it’s like a library, and t’s beautiful. I love looking at my books, and I really wish I had a bookshelf double the size just to fit all of my books in! 🙂 I wouldn’t dare tear out a page of a book. But you are right about one thing; all things are disposable.

  2. Interesting quote…but on the contrary, if you truly love a book, you will take care of it, and you will protect its pages, no? I hate the idea of coffee stains on books and folded corners. I like keeping them pristine.

    1. Yeah I guess you could see it both ways, all my books have only been read once and are in perfect condition in my book shelf. But I think like a well loved childhood toy, it becomes worn if you play with it all the time, and it also goes for reading books a hundred times over 🙂
