“To ask for forgiveness

is to plead for

your wrongdoings to be forgotten.

I know how it feels

to wish you were given

a second chance,

but it isn’t that easy.

You cannot demand justice,

for the forgiver is faced

with a moral choice;

forgive and forget

or revenge and regret.

I am begging you to do

the right thing;

I plead with you to

be moral and wise

for a reasonable person

admits their mistakes and

accepts the consequences.”
